Madeline Nagy
Madeline has been training dogs, puppies and their people at Animal Alliances (now called The Collared Scholar) since 2004. Previously, during her 5 year tenure as Humane Education and Volunteer Coordinator at the MSPCA Animal Shelter in Springfield, Madeline witnessed first-hand the “magic” of clicker training and it’s potential to transform “problem dogs” into well-mannered, adoptable companions.
Madeline’s canine companions include Baxter (age 9) and Tonka (age 17), both MSPCA shelter adoptees. Successfully introduced to clicker training at age 12, Tonka has proven once and for all that old dogs really CAN learn new tricks!
In addition to training dogs at The Collared Scholar, Madeline, who graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Religion, also teaches for The Princeton Review and aspires to someday make her living as an artist and writer.
